Apologies are game theory.
An apology is a contract where the offending party agrees to set a precedent of something so painful that it eliminates repeat offense.
Failing to hit the pain threshold is more detrimental to reconciliation than no apology.

Interesting thought about crypto assets at death, something should be done about that.
Non divine ramifications of death is true legacy (and it's affects to loved ones). Not easily rewritten legacy as we have become accustomed. A permanent example to all.

We are building a quantum internet. For a time it will need a layer of protection. From not the least, abuse of Brands/entities with followings.
What are other aspects to Branding, apart from a work incentive to gain a following for abuse (monetize)?

Not all branding is about consumerism, not that brands are the same.
In addition, many of the brands that contribute most to society are improving their purpose to help solve the situation.
Far more is lost from the opposite, failing to separate ignorance from expertise.
Understanding information far > brand/credibility/messenger/patronage, instigates one to learn to find & accurately assess information. No matter the source.
If the age of consumerism were coming to an end, where would this leave branding?

This works the same way for 'quality' signals too.
If signal cost is too high you lose 'quality' signals to the benefit of signalers holding patronage to the detriment of 'quality'.
How do you balance it?

People sitting out of long side until they are comfortable the damage of halving is absorbed and the price becomes stable. Then they'll buy back in and price rises.
