Given that you can buy art using crypto in many places, I consider this a good thing. Crypto exchanges KYC you. Off ramps KYC you. Why wouldn't art dealers selling pieces for millions have to do the same? So I agree...this is overdue.

I think there's a distinction to be made between privacy and anonymity. Some may conflate the two.
