It is disturbing that government would need to know about every stick of gum, coffee or roll of toilet paper one would buy. I was raised under the impression that I have the right to be secure in my "persons, houses, papers, and effects." -made up crimes-
It is okay to bust people for cleaning money obtained by illegal means (drugs, child porn, and other disgusting means). But, they are busting people for cleaning digital assets obtained by blogging or mining. Not illegal work!

I found this article interesting. Blockchain was intended to be private, not fully anonymous; at least that was my understanding.
