"Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, describes Web 3.0 as semantic web. This is web written in a code that computers can understand as well as humans. Computers designed for mobility (like smartphones) are also part of Web 3.0, as is artificial intelligence. Web 4.0, which is not here yet, is also called symbiotic web, where the computer and the human brain can interface freely, perhaps as equals." - HowStuffWorks

Hey! Teacher!

Rather sad that writing and getting a book published doesn't hold as much weight as it used to. As the barriers to entry drop, so does the quality

1M1w3W…6wi4 Key · twetch

that's quite impossible

genuinely curious about this

If TBSV by definition is Testnet BSV, how are people even wondering, asking about swapping it for BSV?

How and why are they mining it, who launched it in the first place?

that side of the story is also true. i guess at the end of the day it boils down to who's actually running a given operation

can still find these beautiful bits of interactions and websites on the internet if you're in the right place at the right time, but they're fading quickly.

twetch just one element with some reasonable barrier to entry, stake in the game, filters, and incentives in a sea of social chaos.

no high level tackling the problem when it's so abstract and hard to define. anyone here who understands the information problem that helps the worst be heard best?

yeah. still kind of a chicken-or-egg problem to me.

we see cases where culture is downstream from technology instead, since the product or invention itself can greatly influence lives and even social interactions later on, even when the culture isn't quite prepared for it.

i find the example of electric cars and tsla adoption applying here. the transistor and internet too maybe. in the case of Twetch, i think tech capability, and the social/game/econ mechanics you and the team create here are largely responsible for the bit-by-bit culture change.

kinda seems like you chose the culture that shall prevail as a result of your tech, which is to be celebrated
