Proof-of-Egg

1DEFTF…Hgm3 Key · twetch

If you covet my pink egg, make me an offer?
I know a frog that can broker this transaction.
We can even make it rain Duros. 😉

If you really want to innovate, you must reason via First Principles to identify the problem, not by reasoning by analogy. If you don't push for radical breakthroughs, you will never achieve radical outcomes.

If you want big rewards, you have to take big risks.
Risk averse building stifles innovation, so define your cultural objectives when starting a company. The culture you create can be a positive or negative feedback loop. The human element is so important.

Yeah, the floating point integers weren't changed. The thought process behind this is by moving the multiplier by 6 decimal places, values become sub penny. In the mind of idiot speculators, reaching one cent is a 50x increase. Easier than a $12,500 XEC

1DEFTF…Hgm3 Key · twetch

No he's correct on that metric. Bear in mind he originally made that comment prior to the mAPI spec whereby you can contract directly with miners below the default relay fee. For media streaming, a lower unit price is always better given the same fee rate.

Reminder that Amaury Coin (BCHABC now XEC or eCASH) had its supply raised from 21 million to 21 TRILLION units!

Not only are there now 18,860,000,000,000 XEC now in circulation but if you want to buy 1 XEC, the dust fee alone will cost you 264 XEC! 💩

If you regard the upload as the proof and the index as the reference, you can serve data locally. Stale or unused data can be locally pruned too, knowing that if required it can be calculated with a little computation effort to sync your local index. 😉

No problemo! 😎

If data is truly P2P, with ID, KYC, AML, accounting, app data etc defined as wallet derivation paths (version function in original Bitcoin protocol) then as long as data is hashed in to the blockchain, all data is recoverable, even if pruned.

If your application is the uploader/owner/co-signatory, then you have record of the TXID. All data once pruned can be re-calculated via Merkle Path Validation, using the Merkle root, hash digest and block header. You can serve video from indexed txs.

What is more impressive, I can now losslessly compress live video HLS at >94% & broadcast in near real-time (500ms delay) for fully interactive on-chain conferencing, only accessible to those with app/wallet access, including distribution rights controls.

These are not off-the-shelf codecs. Developing new cutting-edge lossless video compression techniques, just for Bitcoin; paired with my unbeatable miner contracts, I can now achieve 200,000x more efficient on-chain video uploads compared to 2 years ago.

This time 2 years ago, I was losslessly compressing a 370MB video file and uploading it to BSV. The passes took 10 hours, achieving an 89% compression. It cost me about $120.

Today, I repeated the same file:
94.6% compression
Encoding <2 mins
Cost: $0.59

💩

The crypto space is akin to Logicsticians quoting and publishing unproven axioms as facts. This is a Computer Science proof session 101 misnomer.

Broke: Default 0.5 sat/byte, 0.25 sat/byte relay fee.

Woke: mAPI 0.1 sat/byte on-chain chess.

Bespoke: mAPI 0.01 sat/byte streaming media, straight from the mempool. 😉

Joke: Not being P2P.

Thank you! I'm 90% recovered but I just pushed too hard, too soon today. I'm currently prohibited from aerobic exercise (doctors orders) but I'm itching to getting back into rebuild mode. Generally, I'm very athletic for my age. It's quite frustrating.

Unfortunately, due to my persistent Pneumothorax from a recent blunt force trauma, I am high risk for in-flight DVT or Pulmonary Embolism, so I have not been medically cleared to fly to attend CG New York. I will see you all at CG Dubai in March 2022.

The only way to bypass the default min 0.25 sat/byte min relay fee is via mAPI. I'm glad that finally enterprises are waking up to "coopertition". 0.1 sat/byte is the new norm, if you've not been paying attention. (First broadcast by Big Block Testers) 😉

After 3 months since my near fatal accident, I thought I had healed enough to attempt some moderate gardening today (weeding, pruning etc). Turns out I was wrong. I literally can't move right now.

We don't need multiple chains. Miners like me have massive overheads in the tens of millions, so we must ensure our 'competative business' have margins better than our competitors. I'm not the world's longest continuous miner (May 11th 2009) by accident.

1DEFTF…Hgm3 Key · twetch

This is why miner "reputation management" is tracked via IP, geolocation and few other essential metrics. Some weird dude wrote about this in 2009.

I am not Dorian Nakamoto.

FYI: There are only 3 places in all mining node implementations where you announce your node version (name & version number), miner name & worker ID. All can be spoofed as someone else, at any time. Only the named host knows if a block is erroneous.

Bitcoin's gossip network seed list isn't a function of Bitcoin's protocol. Laplace transforms can be used to rank PoW connects on multiple SHA256d chains to guarantee best remuneration (including fees) across chains. These are miner config options.
