This is awesome. Im sure you could get a brood box and some frames locally. If they were friendly probably Italian. Just got word today I should be getting my nuc next week. Will start posting again soon.

The black ones are Barred Plymouth Rock Bantams & the brown Olive Eggers. My intention was to have 3 but the 2 extras they sent as backups are doing just fine as well. Looks like 5 it is haha. Gonna start a chicken thread soon, will post as often as I can.

Something about tending to other life forms that expands your soul in ways unimaginable. Its POW like no other.

This is my first journey into beekeeping. Did a bunch of reading so we'll see how it goes. At the learning while doing stage. I know that every colonies honey is unique. They can go up to 2 miles foraging for pollen. So you may never know till you try.😊

Ive been following the Flow team since their kickstarter over 5 years ago. It was great to finally buy from them. Got to scratch my bee itch & support hardworking entrepreneurs in one go.

How it works:

Il'l try to post on here as much as possible so we can learn together. My neighbor has been beekeeping for decades so I have him as a back up. Probably best to find some local knowledge before you start.

A new era is coming......

Some of those things I've been working on for a couple of months. Learning by watching vids and reading books. Now they're all into practice with the exception of the gardening because of the season. Everyday is a massive learning experience. Feels great.
