This is cool! Have you kept bees before? If so, have you dealt with varroa mites? I’m interest in bee keeping, but not thrilled that I live near a lot of commercial farms, so I wonder about honey quality.

This is my first journey into beekeeping. Did a bunch of reading so we'll see how it goes. At the learning while doing stage. I know that every colonies honey is unique. They can go up to 2 miles foraging for pollen. So you may never know till you try.😊
Il'l try to post on here as much as possible so we can learn together. My neighbor has been beekeeping for decades so I have him as a back up. Probably best to find some local knowledge before you start.
