Do people actually think the stock market is legit? I mean here we see they are daytrading metal. No metal ever exchanged hands, is this even a market? Seems metal is not really being bought or sold so how does this equate to the actual value of physical silver?

it's probably manipulated, but in any case you forgot to take into account that USD exchanges hands all the time.

I just mean metal is a physical thing u like a stock or a digital asset that nothing needs to actually need to physically change hands. Metal is heavy and clumsy just seems like if the SEC were real and actually regulating price descovery some actual metal must need to move somewhere, BTW I k ow it’s paper but even that makes no sense for physical assets

i get it, and you are not wrong, all i'm saying is the commodity doesn't need to change hands for price action. it's denominated in something else, in this case USD, which is changing hands.

Not regulated by the SEC. It’s regulated by the CFTC as a physical commodity. If you purchase a contract and want to accept delivery you can.

It's all so fucked man. Everything. Just numbers on a screen liquidating retail over and over. I finally settled on POW Bitcoin at 21 million supply as the ideal long term investment. I'll take my changes over the next 20 years with that money over this bullshit we see above. They do this to BSV as well but can't do that forever as use cases pick up and people start using it like we are on Twetch.

Wonder if anyone has done an audit of BSV on exchanges? I’m curious to know how many are out there for sale, who would sell at this price, I’m sure there is no reason to sell,

Funny thing is they could use BSV to stop all this computer metals day trading with tokenization, but that would stop their scam...

It's just ran up to 120USD! why didn't you sell when it was over 100USD, then you would be happy. It was literally a once in a decade or even generation run up in a industrial metal.

I buy physical silver to force me to save my money, mostly bought at around $20 years ago. If i need to sell I will, but if not my grandkids will inherit. the post was mostly about how some things probably shouldnt be day traded , Is there really a reason other than greed for it to happen?

Fair take, though (as Rick Rule) I consider silver as speculation, w/ gold being a better savings item (smaller weight/bulk, silver bulk is annoying). Also, silver ETF are click-sell fast for locking in gains, but META/GOOG/AAPL significantly outperformed silver and I would trade a stash of silver from 2012 for any of those, would be a fool not to.

Agree , I don’t trade stocks though spent too much time trading crypto and stocks years ago. And locking value in metals in a safe to retain spending power for later years. Not trying to break records just think keeping fiat on May bank account never worked well for me

the physical market is legit, the paper market is fraud, eventually i foresee the physical market taking over
