All the black keys play a Melody no matter what order you play them in.

You just have to time the inputs in a matter that follows a desired tempo.

That can also be done with the white notes of the piano, and with any instrument, you just need to play the Pentatonic Scale. The black notes are just a pentatonic.

All keys could have easily been painted any color.
White and black was chosen for a reason.
Can you guess that reason?

I never thought about why white and black were chosen. But, certainly, there are some historic reasons for that. Piano keys were used to be made from elephant ivory, right? What were their most common natural colors? Also, white and black contrast nicely.
