Is your house free? It’s mine now, in fact me and my 10 friends are coming to take it. But no, you and your community don’t want that. Maybe you and your neighbours decide to hire some security to keep your property safe. Good idea, I like the sound of protection. I’m gonna move to your town for the free protection! But no, you don’t like that, why should you pay to protect the town when I won’t. Your community decides that to live in your town you have to chip into the security costs. Now you have birthed government and taxes. I get your point of course but don’t be blinded by our broken systems. The foundations of human civilisation are sound.
