i'm convinced the only reason for sports of any kind is as a psychological replacement of the mating display once required of the human male. sports lets weak males get pushed to the bench and embarrassed b4 the cheer leaders like a weaker extension of the mating rights. because nobody wants to talk openly about breeding and likely the weaker intellects created sports to bully the smartest brains
