I have a suspicion that Greg's motivation to sabotage Bitcoin is to prove himself right. He's trying to make a point.

Can Bitcoin really overcome extreme social engineering, manipulation, and propaganda? If it can't then he was right all along.

“When bitcoin first came out, I was on the cryptography mailing list. When it happened, I sort of laughed. Because I had already proven that decentralized consensus was impossible.”

The #coronavirus proved Maxwell wrong. The virus is decentralized, there is worldwide consensus, and it is possible.

What are the scope + scale of the consensus, and how long can it last?

If consensus is a shared plateau in a network of info..

Does certain consensus have to be met by all before reaching the next plateau?

Is the bar higher for consensus or disruption?

We're trying anyway.
