Because it destroys the entire 2 party system and puts the people in power, not individuals seeking the power to control. Its a hard fight. Doesnt mean its not worth it. But the lack of Lib reps simply reinforces the genuine desire to live and let live.

Live in a society with other libertarians because you have to all share the same values and rules. Like right now are you truly libertarian? The answer is no because you have to cave to what the majority of society agrees with.
