What's your best take away from it?

It functions as a simple, repeatable core for discipline in my life.
I’ve come to a point where I look forward to them and will often do closer to 120-180, just because I enjoy the pump and have a better developed mentality about its effects vs its cost each day.

Thanks. I remember doing 100 push-ups + 50 sit ups a day in my early 20's and later in my early 30's as well. Got back into lifting weights again last year, close to the best shape of my life, then came off the motorbike at 10km/h, metres from my gate and broke my collar bone. That was 5 months ago. The gym is calling me. Your words will be in my mind.
