Feel like messaging is pretty fundamental on social media and paying $10 monthly to have the option kinda whack, if u pay 1 month and message everyone and dont pay the next month will you still have it?

Yeah i get that, I think paid unlock chat is far better than $10 sub personally. And even better would be setting a price to dm you in your own user settings.

Fair enough, I even think user having to follow each other to dm would stop any kind of mass dm like what happened.
General scams could still happen, as they could even with pay wall. Hopefully this is a big lesson for people. Feelsbadman for everyone who got burned
