It’s been a known plan in whales circles since at least 2015/2016 after XT failed and it was clear an alternative was needed. Banksters still have their fake privacy coin to distract the masses from Monero too.
Anyone in BSV has learned this lesson:
If there's a fake banker coin to distract from a real one, hold the fake one, it will pump. Switch late, not early.
This being said, I don't give much credence to the talking-points of either side.
I can't tell which is better, ZCash or Monero. Time will tell.
Ztrash has optional privacy, doesn’t matter if the tech is actually good. Fungibility is important and if privacy is not mandatory, the whole monetary system cannot be fungible.
Reminds me of the BTC narratives against BCH back in the day.
Personally, I'm done with choosing sides between coins and then fighting the other.
