I posed 2 questions, that are relevant, you called me out because of their format, but the questions are important.

An archive doesn't make us wiser - what we do with the archive does.
All the information that can be put into the archive should be put into the archive.
Now, I see the following thoughts:
What are the limitations of the archive, such that we need to narrow "all possible information" to "less than all possible information"?
If "less than all information" is required, then a systematic filtering should be applied. High-level answers (categories, personal preferences) do us little good.

A better archiving system may be created in the future. Maybe even the near future.
Something that would render BSV not only obsolete, but destine the content on it to be almost completely forgotten and unseen.
Why wouldn't the superior archive absorb the inferior archive?
I suppose it would, but why would people look for that content?
It would be like looking for content about Betamax. Very few people would care to search through Twetch archives if BSV becomes obsolete, even if it's all absorbed into the superior archive.
Whereas, if BSV doesn't become obsolete, and in fact gets to scale and is globally used, MANY people would care to search through it.
I'd guess that any demand for Betamax that continues to exist is primarily driven by content that was not archived on VHS.
I welcome this interaction.
Regarding 1, am I right to assume you think the goal is to get wiser? And that an archive would be an useful tool for that?
How then, can we conciliate this with the idea (for some a fact) that all the relevant wisdom for men lies whithin and the only meaningful pieces of information are those that teaches us how to know ourselves?
What kind of wisdom are you talking about?
"all the relevant wisdom for men lies whithin and the only meaningful pieces of information are those that teaches us how to know ourselves"
This is an opinion, not a fact.
- I wouldn't say the goal is to get wiser. You are the one that inserted pursuit of wisdom into the conversation.
You asked the purpose of the site, and I replied "to archive all the information in the world" without regard to what is done with the information.
For someone who wants to keep the conversation on topic, you are certainly talking about "wisdom" quite a bit.
Why would you want "to archive all the information in the world"?
Why does a library contain books?
