A better archiving system may be created in the future. Maybe even the near future.
Something that would render BSV not only obsolete, but destine the content on it to be almost completely forgotten and unseen.

Why wouldn't the superior archive absorb the inferior archive?
Fields the transaction did not carry are omitted. Open the payload to see the bytes as stored.
1PqgufE2YSYkUfx8cWQEbFExZMpNmnCTad UnverifiedI suppose it would, but why would people look for that content?
It would be like looking for content about Betamax. Very few people would care to search through Twetch archives if BSV becomes obsolete, even if it's all absorbed into the superior archive.
Whereas, if BSV doesn't become obsolete, and in fact gets to scale and is globally used, MANY people would care to search through it.
I'd guess that any demand for Betamax that continues to exist is primarily driven by content that was not archived on VHS.
Yes but if the new archive, archives all this, then the content persists through the new medium (unlike maybe some betamax content not existing on VHS)
BSV becomes a tiny footnote if it becomes obsolete before it can take over. Barely anyone will read Twetch content in that scenario, even if it's in the new archive.
where are we goong here?
