It is always the same old story which is being repeated over and over again: lets use force, violence and coercion for "the good" and to achieve a peaceful world.
The general lack of self reflection and basic logic is the reason why those people are not able to realize, that thereby they become exactly what they initially wanted to abolish and therefore their ambition to achieve world peace will never be reached.
Since there is no effective way to identify the few violent actors before acting violently you have to surveil and coerce everybody which will result in much more overall violence.

Be careful whenever you think, that "the end justifies the means".
