Well I'm sure 2020 will be good right. What could possibly go wrong in 2020.

BTC will no longer be around in 2020,
so there is that to look forward too

There is still time left (one week to go) for this prediction to be fulfilled. On Twitter 27 August 2021, “Coinbase will not exist in 5 years because of ignoring BSV and customers". Calvin. He was replying to the Coingeek article "Coinbase ignores pleas of hacked customers, but the law offers a solution”

Of course, LaW.

I don't think Coinbase is going anywhere anytime soon lol.

I saw someone on the Babbage meet up a few weeks ago saying the miners need to run Teranode and drop BSV node to be able push the super high tps numbers BSV is capable of. A sustained high tps test could get attention.

They don't promote their tests as public tests
they should have done a stresstest on mainnet same date every year
ever since the first one when bitcoin was BCH
and it would be an annual showcase everyone could get behind

now nobody cares because the tests are random and many then try to claim those transactions as organic

seems like they are pushing teranode to push out competition,
look how electrumSV guys are being treated recently

why bring in new nodes that destroy current wallets when there is currently no demand for teranode
TBH i am surprised they did not just reboot the chain with teranode and start from 0, as it would make clear sense to do so at this point.

I didn't realise changing to Teranode would screw over current wallets, that's rather problematic.

they have been squeezing out the little guys for a long time.
Like how much does it now cost to run a BSV node?
how many of the public do you think can afford to run one?
or even just a small startup
with teranode you got no chance

then everyone is DEPENDANT on miners and their nodes

remember "decentralized" is not stated in the bitcoin whitepaper

If a month's on end test was ever to occur it would completely obliterate every single argument against scaling. It would melt faces. However, the setup and the cost would be absolutely staggering to do such a test. Nah, Hollywood AI movie is a better spend of resources. 😂

i agree the cost would be huge
TAAL paying themselves for a month

70 million is much better spent on a fictional movie

like seriously the worst that could happen with them doing such is suddenly BTC miners switch over to grab some of those fees, and then BSV gets great exposure

I was thinking just 24hr test but people still like XRP with its 1500tps lol. So yeah AI movie it is then.

Forget 24 hrs it proves nothing, You needs months (at least 3 if not more). This proves to the world sustained usage works. 24 hours pffft. However the cost and time to do 3 months would be off the charts. All or nothing ploy, doesn't work or bring in real revenue after that then turn off the lights game over.
