it's easy to secure this by having the company NOT hold any valuable data:

Use the data (like face) on the phone to generate a reproducible random hash, use that hash as a seed to generate private key.

No need to store anything on a server ever.

I understand why you ask the question. A lot people have same doubt that Volt generate private key by users' face and it can be used to unlock a bitcoin wallet. Those who think so have no idea about how encryption works in bitcoin.
