I know someone who was very close to him
who said the exact same thing
after they completely left BSV

That's cause it's true. I've watched long enough to figure that out.

We all have our observations.
myself, I only claim to know what I know
something appearing to be obvious is not enough for myself without specific knowledge, and said knowledge would also need to be verified personally.

One observation that is true.
Is that those who got very close,
later could not get far enough away from him.

I am not disagreeing or saying you are wrong,
but I tend to try and not speak in absolutes.

extremely possible, yes
true, we are not there, yet

There has most certainly been signs
I am curious
which observation first took you down this line of thought?

Well, it was a culmination of things.

The COPA trial sealed it for me that he was a fraud or at least an actor (He could be Satoshi either with the state all along, or recruited later, or just a state actor the whole time). Absolutely pitiful showing.

But it's also that BTC was co-opted, BCH isn't Bitcoin either...

Also, my life experience, I just see through the ruses a lot easier than most people. The end result is that Bitcoin, to the whitepaper, does not exist - yet Craig claims that BSV is Bitcoin, set in stone. It isn't, it's different than the original code.

Even if you argue that it is Bitcoin as intended (Maybe it is) - he's crucified it over and over, again, culminating in the COPA case where he looked like an absolute donkey. I watched it all live.

Screams "Agent" to me at the end of the day.

Agent tasked with further suppressing Bitcoin.

for myself the data points are a bit different
the copa trial, Creg picked the battleground and the weapons and then did not deliver after years of promising.
To myself this made it clear it was not a case of Creg will not sign but cannot sign.
the argument of "you don't disclose your bank balance" was null once he provided a list of addresses to the court

But other points
firstly Cregs Granddad means Creg was born into those circles, and later we see him at an evening with Princess Anne.
The humiliation bit he had to do, asking Elon to attend a conference or talk or whatever, after he had been cussing Elon publicly, hand signs, shirt colour, to myself it seemed obvious he was being put in his place.
The Dave Kleiman looks like he was most certainly taken out, and Creg made sure to post himself crying afterwards, who does that?
Then Ira, the story then contacted him after etc to "help" get the coins
and a big mystery that was brought up in the court cases with his name mentioned many times, but nobody ever talks about and I had not heard him mentioned till the court cases is Gareth Williams.

BTW, I initially got into bitcoin, not because I thought it would free the world, I got into bitcoin because I could see it is what the NWO would need, and I could make some $$$ as we march towards our dystopian future.

Yeah I'm betting on BSV because of the movie right now. That's it.

I'm not longterm betting, I'm betting on a small gain because of the movie, for fun.

I think it's pretty clear to me, that Bitcoin-as-originally-intended is an existential threat. That is why it's being suppressed. And they can do so indefinitely. Look around.
