This desktop app looks and feels a lot like the web one! Can't wait until I can get the mobile version working.

This has to be the best explanation of UTF-8 character encoding that I've ever seen. It's also really fun to watch.
There's a great guide for best practices for implementing SLP Tokens.
The SLP token ecosystem has come a long way since I was in it last
slp.dev SLP Implementation Instruction for Wallet and Exchanges I don't think we can afford to be too ideologically strict in the blockchain world. Anything with enough adoption is going to have sufficient people using it that some of them will have conflicting philosophies.
I like a blockchain that works well.
This is why I don't dismiss SLP tokens like others do, who are waiting for "real" tokens on #BSV.
SLP tokens are a really interesting technology in the context of #Bitcoin forks. There's only a 1-byte difference in it's usage between #BCH and #BSV. Very easy to have common tools for both.
Jason Chavannes has done a fantastic job with SLP support in http://memo.sv and http://memo.cash.
I wonder how may people in BSV have used SLP tokens. There are some things they don't do, but they are a lot of fun. This is especially true when you're around a group of people that all have wallets that can send and receive tokens.
For generating a vanity address, the tool from https://github.com/samr7/vanitygen works well, even though it is 8 years old. Only requires a few tweaks to get it working. One of the benefits of a system that is slow moving or set in stone.
Been playing with vanity addresses today since they are a good way for apps to promote their brand on the blockchain. You get cool stuff like this:

Just checked the fees on a recent transaction I made using Simply Cash, they were nice and low at just over 0.5 Sat/byte. Great to see an awesome wallet keeping up with the times, it needs more love, recognition and attention than it usually gets.
Surprisingly this episode of Peter McCormack's What Bitcoin Did podcast is really interesting, hearing Vitalik & Samson talk about issues already solved by BSV.
