they had a lot more mental power from their great grandfather alien and developed all kinds of elaborate ways to enslave the boat folk spawn and extract resources from them physically, psychically and emotionally. inflicting trauma would energise them

the young brother didn't want to do that so he made himself a little human qt in secret that he could get freaky with and started knocking her up with his alien spawn. she kept popping out these little humanoid creatures that he stashed away in secret

eventually the slave race got the princes enough materials so they could build their ship again and take a good haul of gold back from earth to their planet. the elder brother told the younger brother to destroy his slave creations to preserve the balance

the eldest brother decided to bring the ruckus and starting bringing all manner of destruction upon the planet to wipe out the slaves that had started to reproduce in massive numbers. he made meteors, floods, volcanos, earthquakes and other rowdy shit

from then on there was two subgroups with the surface population... the descendants of the boat dude and the cuties alien spawn. the alien spawn didn't like the boat dude spawn and only wanted to get down with their own kind and keeping their genes tight

most of the slaves got obliterated in all the destruction but the little qt and her alien spawn were kept safe by the young brother and started to seed a new surface population. another dude got wind of the destruction and built a huge boat to ride it out

They came in a crystalline space craft attached which collided with the earth's atmosphere and shattered into thousands of pieces, all imprinted with the alien consciousness. In order to get a new space ship they created humanoid slaves to work for them

the crystal space craft occupants were two princes from a distant planet and one of them was a genetic whizz kid who started tinkering with the DNA from all the species on the planet, he fused a bit of all the animals in to create the humanoids

the other brother was set to become the ruler on the planet and was a bit more sensible. he didn't think the genetic manipulations were a good idea but they didn't really have any other option to create their space ship again so he just went along with it
