Well, my chair has arrived. Holy balls, it's a big heavy box. I can't believe the UPS guy carried it up the stairs like it didn't exist. I barely got it in the door after he left haha. I think that says more about me than it does him.

Tramadol is horrible stuff. BUT. Without it I could not provide for those I love. That is worth my own personal hardship. My bloody-mindedness will keep me trucking long after my spine gives out!

I feel you. I've been on all sorts of things. I even wore morphine patches for a while. One on the back for 24 hours. I believe it gave me 5mg an hour. I was a lunatic. Felt kinda fun for a while I won't lie. But the downs were suicide level. Geez.

I've been back on them a while now. I've got it down to 4 a day. I have scoliosis and spondylitis in my back, so if I want to work, I don't have much choice. They are evil and I tell everyone never to start them unless you have no other choice. - 2/2

I've been taking tramadol for years and years. The first time was about 10 years ago. I was on 8 50s a day. It made me a shit person. I was up and then I was down. Horrible. I went cold turkey on those buggers and didn't look back - 1/2

I can tell you - that feeling does get better with time. It honestly does. It will take a few months - but you will get through it. I manage mine by keeping it to 4 no matter what. It's still horrible, but it's a lot better than the alternative for me.
