Meanwhile it's more profitable to mine BSV then BTC 🤷♂️

Add in longs and zoom out and it’s impossible not to see the absurdity. For as long as there’s data, BSV shorts have far exceeded BTC longs and shorts combined yet awareness between the two is not even comparable.
Looking at BTC and BSV longs makes sense to me. There’s a multiple orders of magnitude difference in awareness, media attention, and availability/access to BTC. Since the Nov ‘21 high long interest between the two looks like this
Looking at shorts doesn’t make intuitive sense. Even after a steep drop in Feb. there’s 20x more shorts and was even 50x not long ago for a coin the mainstream hasn’t heard of
It amazes me how when you bother to look at the data mainstream narratives almost never hold true.
Have fun staying poor #BTC

I played around with this thought and unless there are obvious outliers in the data I don't think it will work. A lot of the short interest has been cumulative over time which begs another question -
who is carry/growing such a large short position over an extended period of time (over a year above 70K) and continues to pay interest to keep the short positions open? Eventually interest charges could eat away any profits
I don't know if a system of measurement exists for naked shorts.
I'm wondering to myself if for example looking at a day's change in short interest and comparing it to the volume for the day on that same exchange could it provide a lens into this...?
Tricky question as naked short selling is not necessarily always nefarious. It often is abused giving it the bad reputation. Whether or not it's illegal I believe would depend on jurisdiction and even then I don't know if it applies to the crypto markets.

Been wondering what's up with BSV transaction fees?
Using the #median vs #average bitcoin transaction fee tells the story.

How much volume on exchanges around the world is wash trading?
Does this imply the price of many cryptos could be fabricated?
Considering that #Coinbase $COIN is one of the more legit crypto exchanges, working towards going public, this is astounding.

"Twitter openly admitting that they make editorial decisions, that these decisions have to be made in secret and that Twitter is actually no different from a newspaper."
I tried looking at the large addresses but didn't pick out anything directly insightful to this. Probably there's more I just need to learn in doing that type of analysis. @37361 wrote about a dust attack to the richest address and that's pretty trippy

I don't know what to make of it myself hence the just throwing it out there. It does say Elon Musk verified account, clicking think will just take you to the MetanetICU Twitter account. Maybe there is an explanation for this...
Yes, the more I've thought about it I think Tesla bought BTC. There would have to be a lot of secrecy going on within finance/accounting depts and the board like you said. But if we get an exciting plot twist, this is on the record!
