Limestone is typically high in pH, shouldn't be a problem if you aren't growing directly into the soil (raised beds etc.) I would recommend: Snap peas, beans, most herbs all do well, anything within the cucurbit family for the most part, tomato transplant
You can also get away with onions, heat tolerant spinaches (I really enjoy Malabar for the summertime), most peppers from seed. I wish I had more to offer in terms of ornamental plants but truthfully I am more of a practical grower.

With nutrients, less is more. Individuals tend to overfertilize thinking it is in best interest of the plant. The soil (Or grow medium) increasingly raises on the pH scale towards the Alkaline side, therefore disallowing nutrients to be up taken.
Texas A&M offers full soil sample services, very detailed! I would definitely help out with a nutrient plan. Attached a link below for you.
I have issues with plants having nutrient lockouts, really grinds my gears.
