Allow me to flesh out what I was trying to say here. Tongue firmly in cheek: Sell your BSV.
Here's the argument: Rather than waiting for others to make the number go up, use your disposable capital to invest in yourself or start a business which creates value for others.
Earn BSV, spend BSV, use BSV.
Hoarding might make you rich off other people's efforts, but it's not gunna make you happy. It's not going to help you develop wisdom and resilience and character.
Speaking from personal experience: Building has made me significantly happier than riding a number going up (ten years ago).
Having said all that, I do appreciate the gamble speculators make on the BSV. The token is ridiculously under valued at present.
What I was trying to point out is that the promise of future value Bitcoin SV can create does actually have to be fulfilled by someone - it doesn't just magically happen in absence of human action. So if you're still here, you are probably one of the rare individuals who actually understands the technological superiority, and therefore might be someone who can turn capital into a productive business which delivers value to others and accumulates significantly more wealth than just holding the coin itself.
For the most part I suppose I was talking to myself. I think the tech stack is in a place now that building businesses on top is fairly simple, so it is the perfect time to get back into for-profit business.
Just watched an interview with Deggen @315 and he suggests we all sell our BSV he sees no reason to hoard any at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4r0dsQWYWM
YouTube You're Still Early To Bitcoin’s Real Opportunity [Yet No One Is Talking About It] What if Bitcoin was not simply something to hold, but something your apps could use?In Episode 15 of the Proof of Claim Podcast, Todd Price and Anil Bharrat ... You can export your keys, yes!
But when you do that, you also need to make sure to move the toys from one toy box to the other.
metanetapps.com is like a window to a magic list in the sky (overlay) where anyone can add their BRC-100 apps so other people can find them. These apps show up on that window, but also in other apps which check that same sky list.
BRC-100 is the special rule that makes every Bitcoin wallet and every app talk the same language.
Imagine:
Your wallet is a toy box.
Apps are different games.
Normally every game needs its own special toy box. That’s messy.
BRC-100 says:
“All toy boxes and all games must use the same magic connector.”
Now any wallet can play with any app, and any app can play with any wallet. What the magic connector lets them do:
Pay → give digital coins
Sign → put your secret stamp so everyone knows it’s really you
Encrypt → lock a secret message, only the right person can open it
Track stuff → put toys into different baskets inside your toy box
That’s it.
One simple rule so everything just works together.
Would love to use BSV Browser with Twetch. Wen BRC-100 support?
I’ve used the Circular Design resources on several occasions ( during hackathons and consulting for clients )
I like their business model canvas and stake holder mapping templates in particular
Entrepreneurs of Twetch:
What is the your favourite framework or analytical tool to use to develop your business ideas into a functional business plans?
Most of us have wives I suspect.
It’s just a meme, and does not exclusively apply to women.
What desperation?
Spending limit on handcash blocked it. Switching to Twetch Wallet again. Thanks!
