This is the answer I got from the wonderful moderator on Discord:

You can transfer the ETHs to your metamask when u accrue $1.
Every user has a wallet like Twetch, and posting on Cent is free. Readers can donate ETH cents on comments called spotting. Or, readers can donate the user by seeding.
I'm assuming gas fees are calculated on the platform. I'm not sure tbh. I'll ask🤔
