Unfortunately these are the people who keep the system running. Entrepreneurs and people who can actually do stuff. They are wealthy because they work hard and deliver value. To communists, they are the enemy but when they are gone, the system breaks down.

There is no misconception. Communism sells a utopia where everyone is happy to give away all their stuff and work to get some of it back. The reality is nobody wants to give away all their stuff or work for nothing.

This is why communism always ends in famine - because people too lazy to work are forcing people to grow food but don't understand that plants need water and fertilizer. The entrepreneur knew this, but the dictator had him shot to remove him as a threat.

Communism is sold to the lowest common denominator- people too stupid or lazy to do any actual work. To implement communism the first thing you do is get the people who are against communism out of society by sending them to a gulag or 'disappearing' them.
