There are many ways to define god. Too often atheists get caught up in the antropomorphic god, which is obviously not worth debating. Serious philosophers and theologians often ponder about something more akin to a force or first-cause etc.

"semi traceable" pseudonymous money
I wish Yuval Noah Harari, best-selling author of Sapiens and Homo Deus, was on team BSV! I think guessing he would find the concept of traceable and non-inflatable money interesting.
Like taking paracetmol et. al. to reduce fevers...
BTC is not censorship-resistant as often touted. The biggest mining farms are easy to locate. Governments take over a few of those and use the ASICS to disrupt the blockchain. Ras-pi network easily defeated by a few takeovers. Craig is right on this point.
These are great ideas!
Corrupt governments are one of, or the, major problem in the world. Hence the widespread interest to subvert them. But instead of destroying them, we can reduce corruption by moving to open traceable BSV money. Non-corrupt governments are great actually!
Yes, this was my point exactly! The people who got excited by early bitcoin should look to BSV, even if it might seem to be built on differing ideologies. Corrupt governments has to change when we start using the open traceable ledger.
It's the only way to survive I think. Bootlicking. Also, if governments are mostly benign, as here in Norway, it's not such a bad partner.
But I think that by making governments use tracable bitcoin, they become less corrupt due to the open ledger. It's a great system to reduce crime and corruption, two great evils that hinder progress for mankind!

I remember when I first got excited about Bitcoin back in 2013. The technology was fascinating. Silk road was intriguing. The idea that governments could be subverted was inspiring!

Through life experiences, growth, the study of history and politics, and not the least through Craig, I've learned that...

...subverting the government and its laws is not the seemingly obvious solution to freedom and happiness that I thought it was - despite being taught so by the anarchistic hippie generation before me, that even raised me.

Now, many years later, why do I then follow BSV, and not BCH nor BTC?Tech aside, my opinion of silk road and the merits of governments have changed. As a rebellious, still developing, and relatively young man, I saw subversion of the establishment as...

...reverting to simplistic and good-hearted, but naive and dangerous ideas.
This is why I now believe in BSV. Not because I no longer dream of freedom for mankind, but exactly because I still do.

I see the merits of capitalism now. Of law. And the horrors of drugs. I see how mankind building on the experiences and wisdom of previous generations is better off than when attempting to repeat the old mistakes of...
