I used buybsv a couple days ago and it “cost” about 10% to convert USD using a credit card. 2 cards were rejected outright and the final one sent me a fraud alert.
I think some may want a trusted third party for remote transactions (otherwise Alice could not give Bob the secret). Since I don’t think she could recover the funds, that would limit the risk somewhat.

Use case: Alice orders stuff from Bob. Alice pays to Bob's pubKey xor'ed with some secret data.
Bob delivers the order to Alice, gets the secret data and can unlock the transaction.

Sounds intriguing, but on-boarding needs to be easy. Currently it is kind of a chicken-and-egg sort of thing. Getting some BSV initially isn't as easy as it needs to be. Twetch gives you one message for free, but for more you need to fund a wallet.
What is the best (lowest fee) method to convert USD FIAT to BSV? I’m guessing that I would need to pick another coin to purchase first (to enable the trade).
Honest question: how do you get BSV initially if you can’t purchase some? Or convert from other digital currencies?

@7145 just continuing to learn about BSV and blockchain / Bitcoin in general. I was able to fund a wallet but can see that being a barrier to entry here. Not sure the best way to overcome it while keeping folks honest.
