I think some may want a trusted third party for remote transactions (otherwise Alice could not give Bob the secret). Since I don’t think she could recover the funds, that would limit the risk somewhat.

Use case: Alice orders stuff from Bob. Alice pays to Bob's pubKey xor'ed with some secret data.
Bob delivers the order to Alice, gets the secret data and can unlock the transaction.
