as a laborer I've always took offense to the term "proof of work." are we to say a guy who builds a small house with his bare hands has less "proof of work" than a guy who pays a construction crew to build his house 2X bigger? i think we are in agreement about the media. it is my opinion that until media figures can be locked up and/or pay severe consequences for pushing false narratives, America will continue falling into madness. we nearly just got a Speaker of the House (Scalise) who survived an attempted assassination by a left wing radical in a pink pussy hat who was convinced by CNN that the US President was actually Hitler…
I agree missiles is a loose example but divorce is better. The slippery slope logic on abortion leads to the conclusion that because divorce is readily available it too easily leads bad actors to shirk accountability- to seek the easy way out instead of taking responsibility for their own decisions, but I didn't want to go there.
As far the existence of missiles being a cause I'm not so sure. An example is when you give somebody an unlimited budget at the grocery store and measure the difference in the way they shop compared to when they have firm limitations or the obvious differences in "spoiled children" who are given too much, too quickly.
Growing up in America knowing your government has access to unlimited weaponry to bully any bad actor it wants creates a sense of protection and ego, which is likely the cause of the current left wing entitlement society- a sense of playfulness with words and idle time that could only happen under the protective shield of unlimited power.
