‘a ... consistent picture is beginning to emerge from high income countries. Reports suggest either no rise in suicide rates (Massachusetts, USA; Victoria, Australia; England) or a fall (Japan,Norway) in the early months of the pandemic.’ BMJ nov 2020

Sorry please elaborate? People are waking up and there is a growing frustration, we’ve had protests in London that get more and more violent, ironically despite defending lockdowns I’ve attended some when the government were just taking the piss.
A country should properly lockdown when there is a new highly infectious disease, which they know nothing about, which is causing people to die or be left with long term symptoms. A country should continue to have restrictions until it’s under control.
Yeah and as I said, people in power are massively taking advantage of situations like this. In the U.K. the disparity between classes has never been so clear and it is a widening gap.
The vaccine is being sold at the price of production (Astra zeneca) so they are not profiting from it. :)
It hasn’t, I’ve taken it, there was a hit of a frenzy about blood clots but that was more political than anything. You’re more likely to get a blood clot taking birth control than the vaccine. EU just don’t like that they’re buying from the U.K.
Those in power are definitely taking advantage of the lockdowns, but they are still necessary. Look at NZ. I have diabetes, and had COVID, and I was fine - but I can’t disregard my friends who’ve lost family members due to it.
Thank you 🥰
The difference is, with the flu, we have a vaccine for that that is regularly updated (I’m presuming the same happens in US) - so those that are clinically vulnerable are protected. COVID-19 has been isolated, I have friends who worked on the vaccine x
Morning everyone 😀 keep moving forward. Great being part of such a positive community on here.
Why would they pay... them? 🥴🥴
The idea is, no ads, so you save money you’d otherwise spend by constantly being advertised shit on other sites
You pay a tiny amount for the content you like, so that person can continue to post
I mean 🤷🏻♀️ Come on 😩
I feel as though people using this site are so hyper-focused on making money :/ it’s a micro currency!! If you’re here to get paid, there are a trillion more efficient ways to do it & completely undermines the value of an app like this 😐
You can’t ban me 😋 another point of the site - no censorship 😚

Yeah, newly launched but have been strongly recommended it by a friend - having read into it I reckon I will put some in but no more than I’m willing to lose
Oh wow! ‘Ellison showed the first six pages of "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" to Frederik Pohl, who paid him in advance to finish it’ thank you :) x
