Yes, I don't see a need for anyone I care about to get the vaccine (though some already have) and pretty much everything over the last year indicates the pushers are up to no good. Still, gotta keep it real.
If 1/1000, I should know someone by now.
However, I still know not one single person who has died from either covid or the vaccine. I don't see bodies in the streets. I don't see covid true believers starting to change their tune because they know so many vaccinated who have died. Just fear porn.
I find myself insisting upon doubting this type of fear porn just as much as the fear porn that covid was all last year. I do know more people who have gotten sick, in a couple of cases seriously so, after their second vaccine dose than from covid.
Agreed. Waste implies no payoff, but handicapping has ROI.
But, it's not "waste" if it has a non-intuitive payoff that exceeds the payoff for not doing it, right? It's like a Nash Equilibrium in that it is difficult for many to see how it is more beneficial (potentially) because it is non-intuitive.

Tracing cash seems almost impossible. Maybe it would be possible if all transactions were run through machines, like self-checkout stands. But as long as there are hand-to-hand transactions, it seems unlikely.

Miners can be confiscated by governments, can't they? It's hard to imagine they wouldn't just take control, one way or another, even if bitcoin became the most used digital currency and generally used currency by the masses.
