The more I think about it; the fact that the mandelbrot set exists in and of itself is actually an mapping of the structure of reality in it's purest recursive form to something visible. What if it IS a map of the universe.

OK, bit of a maths thing. What would you get if you set Z in the Mandelbrot equation to Psi in the Schrodinger equation; could you compute the fractal backwards to a specific end state?

The Schrodinger equation actually represents a unity, it's design was to include the entire state of a system such that it build a wavefunction for that system; theoretically up to the state of the universe with high enough resolution.
