Its not so much owning a printer yourself as it not mattering where you are while being able to print.
Could do yes but this is part of prototyping, still need a keyboard for first time setup on octoprint iirc or maybe I'm missing something.
I've bought one now though; found an old amazon gift card. :D

This was the greatest power afforded to us by bitcoin right? We don't need credit from lenders or otherwise; it can just be generated and afixed to some arbitrary token, to which the functionality comes after. It all got a bit lost under whitepapers & BS.
I think this is the biggest issue I had with all these token sales. Fundamentally they were dishonest about that fact that yes, the tokens didnt have any value at the time of sale; but in buying them you're generating the credit necessary to build services
Time to start breaking down why LABS are worth money.
Its a case of supplying one another with sufficient credit such that the machines can pay for themselves to operate. That is a true DAO.
IT has to be real. Asset based.
