this is Da Hong Pao, a rock tea which is a type of oolong grown in the Wuyi mountains. it is a really smooth, balanced tea, probably my favorite oolong thus far. they're called "rock tea" because of the "rocky" taste that growing in the mountains creates.
this is iribancha (kyobancha), one of my favorite teas. it is a bancha that originates from Kyoto and is the last tea harvested. it is roasted, leaving quite a smoky taste and aroma.
this is soba cha (そば茶), a Japanese buckwheat (soba) tea from Nagano. it has a really unique flavor and aroma and is pretty sweet. one of my favorite not-teas. it also contains Rutin, a chemical that allegedly has affects like cancer prevention.
this is "yunnan golden buds", a type of Dian Hong (Yunnan Red) from the Yunnan province. it is a black [red] tea that has a sort of honey-like sweetness to it. honestly i didn't really appreciate black tea until i had this one
this is sencha (煎茶), a higher grade Japanese green tea. it is my personal favorite, though good quality can end up being fairly expensive. it has quite an "umami" flavor that can be unusual when trying it for the first time.
this is a Japanese black tea, originating from Saga. this particular tea is grown among Oosmanthus flowers to create a perfumed tea. some flowers are also mixed during production. it is an absolutely amazing tea.
someone once told me "most of the worlds problems are a product of people not being able to sit quietly in a room for 10 minutes"
this is soba cha (そば茶), a Japanese buckwheat (soba) tea from Nagano. it has a really unique flavor and aroma and is pretty sweet. one of my favorite not-teas. it also contains Rutin, a chemical that allegedly has affects like cancer prevention.
this is Bi Tan Piao Xue ("Snow Drop in Emerald Pond"), a high quality jasmine with a green tea base. this is an amazing jasmine - it brings a complex flavor through 4-6 "shorter" perfuming sessions instead of one or two long ones.
pinhead gunpowder, a type of Chinese green tea. it's not a bad tea but it doesn't have much of an interesting flavor, i'd almost prefer drinking water. i like some Chinese greens but this is a great example of how much more interesting Japanese greens are
i had a dream that there were 5 more vagabond omnibus' that i didn't know about and it was really disappointing when i woke up
it took me a few brews to get used to the taste but i absolutely love it. Japanese greens are all pretty amazing in and of themselves but genmaicha is a gem
Lapsang Souchong, a pinewood roasted black tea. it has a strong fragrance of campfire and mulch. it tastes like a lighter, more nuanced form of the smell with stronger notes of pine. honestly i'm not a big fan, i'd far prefer a kyobancha. too much pine.
this is "yunnan golden buds", a type of Dian Hong (Yunnan Red) from the Yunnan province. it is a black [red] tea that has a sort of honey-like sweetness to it. honestly i didn't really appreciate black tea until i had this one
i haven't but oddly enough i've wanted to try a vanilla rooibos for awhile now. gonna order some now, seems like Mariage Frères is an absolute gem for interesting teas (i didn't know the french had good tea)

how can you create a composition without ever looking at the notes
As it is a generalized Kac–Moody algebra whose simple roots are known, it can be defined by explicit generators and relations; however, this presentation does not give an action of the monster group on it.
Just published an article on how critical it is for you to keep moving forward with your vision no matter how much hate you receive.

21e8 is a way of thinking
DeOS and E8 thinking followed 21 Inc. which fathered 21e8. 21e8 rejected the emperor’s influence over 21e6 (21 Inc.) and DeOS evolved to throw the Palpatine over the railing and lead the previously enslaved by chains to 21e8

the interesting thing about an oolong is the way it opens up after a few steeps
storing information in between the bits
i was once told, “its not the notes that makes music, but the space in between the notes”

geospacial indices are so much more interesting than graph db's. they accomplish pretty much the same thing, one just does it gracefully
