This russula was easily recognisable due to its bright colouration - this particular genus ranges from rosy pink to deep red. They are widely collected for their colourful fruitbody. Consumption of Russula emetica - “The Sickener” is ill advised.

In reality, small blocks create a "problem" to which Blockstream can conveniently sell you a solution in the form of Liquid BTC. Many warned this would happen. The cypherpunk ideology was so strong that it was ignored, and here we are!
LN was a socially engineered attack. It leveraged cypherpunk ideals in order to convince people small blocks were necessary so that end users could run non-mining nodes. It was sold as giving users power. It was anti-government, anti-bank rhetoric.
Adam Back CEO of Blockstream founded 2014 still claims to be a cypherpunk. Blockstream is a company dedicated to selling solutions to perceived shortcomings of "Blockchain". BTC has a massive shortcoming. 7tx/s throughput. Because of cypherpunk ideology.

BTC folk were convinced that Lightning was the answer. Not realising this was distraction and in fact paved the way for Blockstream's L-BTC. LN proponents are so convinced by the cypherpunk rhetoric they do not even know they were played :/

As someone that likely understands bitcoin, you probably aware of importance of incentive. When you apply to the world around you, a lot of popular opinion starts to unravel. There’s no profit in questioning vax safety. Lots in convincing everyone it good.
