I don't know but it's the only coin that gained value while the entire crypto market crashed. It's now more than 100x the price it was in january... probably cause it's propped up by Sam Bankman who basically controls the crypto market (ftx/alameda)

Yea, also interesting how right before the attack bsv hashrate doubled for a bit, with many blocks being mined at a loss by sbicrypto.com . Maybe the attacker used that pool as a test before running the actual attack? Could be useful to investigate

Happy the SEC is looking into it. I remember chatting with David Schwartz on irc as he was launching XRP and it was clear it was a premined scam, I tried to warn people about it. But dont forget most of ETH was premined too https://etherscan.io/stat/supply

I'll look more into the lawsuit details, it seems focused on the sale of an unregistered security https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2020-338 . Eth corporation was originally based in switzerland, not sure if the same would apply
