Thanks for noticing! Looking forward to using your site some more and seeing where you take it
Now offering $0.30 to try our beta. The next 100 people who comment their primary Money Button paymail and branch this post will be given access.
I think people that like posts should get compensated by future likes. It could be a way to incentivize content discovery
One year later, it's been fun to watch Twetch grow
Hello Twetch.
I am a Bitcoin Maximalist. BSV is BitCoin.
miners might one day act as the "advertisers" of the network by donating a portion of their mining reward to content creators that add value to the network
The new interface is sleek. Best thing about this update is that Twetch now saves my spot in the feed after I click into a post and press back. One of my biggest usability problems with Twetch is fixed!
Why would you want a less costly signal? Cheap proof of work is easier to fake therefore it is not as honest of a signal.
Like @24 said, 21e8 cannot provide as much POW as cheaply as Matterpool can. 21e8's ASIC miners will be way behind in terms of POW/cost. Bitcoin mining is already hyper efficient b/c they have been using ASICs for so long.
But they are in competition because they both use energy as a costly signal. If 21e8 is successful someone will develop ASICs for their mining algorithm. The 21e8 CPU and GPU miners will then become irrelevant just like they did with Bitcoin

I think that BoostPoW and 21e8 aren't even in competition with each other. Boost can create PoW that's not really feasible on existing GPU/CPUs. 21e8 creates PoW that's not possible with existing ASICs. Basically just two sides of the same coin. @24 @9

What Coin Alchemist does not seem to understand is..that there is no such thing as ASIC resistant mining algorithms

wearing Twetch colored glasses is the best way to experience Bitcoin so far
@315 I think it would be better if the "top of the inbox" feature was only applied to unread messages. It might avoid confusions like this.
I received your message! I think the top of the inbox feature can be confusing. It's there to help you know what amount of $ would get my attention. Someone previously sent me a message for 10 cents, so to rank higher than them Baemail suggests paying more
sure give it a shot! I'll reply to your Baemail so you can see what it's like to receive one too
The best way to understand BitCoin is to use it
If editing is possible, I hope the like count will be reset for each edit. If I like something I want it to be credited towards the post I liked and not something completely different because it was edited.
This would encourage quick spelling fixes but discourage people from changing the original message of the post.
