Some of you don't trust banks with your money but trust a completely insecure blockchain network with your life's savings and it shows.... 😬

I went Twetch broke but then emptied out the last few sats of BSV I own in the world so I could @852 this. Thanks @102 for the great chat, HandCash and PayMail are some of the few bright spots for usability!

This made my day. Sure, I like when people donate to support my work, but this sort of message really lets me know I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. 🤘

I'm almost out of juice too!
For example, wanting to be friendly with neighbors but holding off because I saw a mask post or a Biden shirt and not wanting to be heckled for how I live my life freely. ☹️
Have you ever avoided a social interaction because you found out about the other person's politics, or because you didn't want them to find out about yours? Sadly, for the second case, I have.
I'm really fascinated in how decentralized systems make decisions, so I went into a bit of a deep dive into the oldest decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), Dash, to see how it votes. 🔍

A friend is now being forced to wear a mask at work. He successfully worked from home for the first part of the year. They won't let him work from home. Please stop kidding yourselves that this has ever been about safety.
Does anyone know someone knowledgeable about #Bitcoin #LightningNetwork or other off-chain scaling solutions that would talk to me? Looking to do an interview for my channel Digital Cash Network.
This is an important thread for #Bitcoin newbies, but also shows the major reasons I don't actually own any Bitcoin anymore. I would just be terrified to own something that (at present) works this poorly.

Over 5,000 people like me moved to New Hampshire to live free, and already the enemies of freedom are giving us full credit for everything awesome that has happened here. You don't need to feel helpless anymore.

Who remembers all the #PIVX hype and FOMO of a few years ago? Just a couple hundred transactions a day now, even fewer than Bitcoin Gold.

Thanks for the Dash, Anonymous! I too enjoyed having Eléonore on the podcast, thanks for watching! https://cointr.ee/a/message/1IgKVThmqT7Gs4jb3FGs
Had a great time yesterday with Eléonore talking smack about the latest in crypto, you know it was a good one when it runs a half hour late!

For my first video for Digital Cash Network back in February, I interviewed Jeremy Kauffman on losing his (and his company's) bank accounts unceremoniously. 9 months later we have PayPal jumping into crypto

For which there's no guarantee of not happening again in the future.
I guess you'd want that if you're tired of endless forks and technical impasses.
Decred looks like one of the few projects ahead of the curve on decentralized funding, governance/consensus, 51% attack resistance, and a few others. I'd be scared to use a coin that didn't have these.

If you weren't thinking about moving before this year, are you now? If you already were, are you closer to actually doing it?
Millions of regular people buying #Bitcoin to escape inflation and financial censorship are going to be surprised when they can't really use it without someone else's permission.
Sure but average users don't tend to use a product because they anticipate ecosystem growth. They do so because they receive value today.
I recently passed 1,000 followers on Publish0x, where readers/viewers can leave tips from an available pool of tips without spending their own money. It's a cool site. 👍

Though I do think Twetch could probably be cheaper. That high cost may be enough to outweigh the benefits. Sub-cent posts would make it more attractive IMHO
A shining example of how cryptocurrency governance is handled. Disagreements of this degree have repeatedly split other projects. If constant schisms aren't your thing, maybe look into Dash.
