Everything is pay to play, only Twetch is upfront with the cost in order to reimburse the user

Though I do think Twetch could probably be cheaper. That high cost may be enough to outweigh the benefits. Sub-cent posts would make it more attractive IMHO

Each Twetch is an investment towards developing the entire ecosystem. There are already lots of users willing to pay these prices to twetch. The "High fees" (talking pennies) will enable Twetch to grow longterm. Not just in total posts, but in design.

Sure but average users don't tend to use a product because they anticipate ecosystem growth. They do so because they receive value today.

Maybe Twetch doesn't need to pander to average users. Maybe the above/average invest in revolutionary things ahead of the curve, and the average catch up.

Maybe a cheap subscription option (1M, 6M, or 1Y) that reduces all costs in half. Would encourage power users / a community. You could gift it to people you enjoy hearing from.

Monthly subscriptions? Thats so 1997 when netfix started. Think about the future. Also think about the nature of bitcoin and how it works.

Amazon Prime / Netflix / Twitch -- seems like a pretty successful social model to me.
