Yes, massive benefits, specifically in creativity. So often I found myself thinking of an idea only to then immediately overthink/criticizing that idea into oblivion. Stream of consciousness journaling suspends this hypercritical mindset for ideas to grow

Been journaling for the last 3 years. Started after reading the book, “The Artist’s Way.” The book really champions the importance of daily, stream of consciousness, journaling. Unbelievably helpful in clarifying ideas especially if you’re an over thinker
