This next decade is going to be interesting. I've been mending clothes lately, a useful activity/skill that has been trending for younger people but still more as a hobby than necessity. (Google "visible mending on Pinterest".)

Been doing "suburban hiking" (walking the hilly neighbourhood) for years. Very cheap! Growing enough food for a family is another story. My container garden is more of a snacking garden and does not replace the need for grocery shopping!
Just uninstalled Twitter from my phone. 💃
Now considering whether to go back to Instagram and update there. 🤔
My usual rule of thumb is one in, one out (for social media platforms). Time is precious!
It is awesome being a mom too. :)
Yep!
I wish the translate function was one click away (not two). @1
I rewatched the talk you gave a while ago in Berlin about business stuff (advice and considerations for going beyond building a hobby project) and it's a good talk. More people need to see that talk.
Abundance vs. scarcity mindset. Be a river, not a dam.
I beg your pardon, what? 😱
ok frog
lol, if you asked my kids they would tell you, "no" (and they will still need to deal with the fact that their mom has a three digit user number).
I beg your pardon, what? 😂
That was me, yesterday. The teenager will eventually eat all of the food anyways.
I feel your pain. Not familiar with Taytos but potato chips are my weakness. I could stare down a chocolate cake all day but crunchy and salty snacks are dangerously addictive. Hang in there!
Probably!
And that circles back nicely to being the inconsistent humans that we are.
Because I don't want to behave like an adult toddler. 🤪 For the sake of being a role model to my children (ages 12 and 14) who are still learning the difference between impulsivity and spontaneity.
?
Maybe impulsiveness implies a lack of consideration, reflection or self control. I'm quite open to being spontaneous but this is usually after a tiny pause to make that choice.
What about @910? 💃
My m.o. is to keep most impulsive reactions to myself. Maintain a bigger gap between stimulus and response. 🤔
If you like and branch this twetch I will plant a tree for you. I will take a picture and post it as a branch of this twetch. No requests on species. Will be fufilled by 2022. Entries close spring 2021
Getting over yourself is paramount. We all have our small and big missteps. The idea is to not get hung up on overanalyzing.
