Thanks, I knew it was 'nothing new'. I just didn't realize it was common knowledge amongst btc-ers that trsxns would only be from the big players. I guess it correlates w/digital gold/sov narrative. I don't think that is what the layperson understands tho
Dan Held's answer on Linked In re: what happens when block reward ends. Is he really that misinformed or am I missing something. The tsxn fees would have to go far beyond what they already are due to the block size cap.

it's a perspective that takes a lot of unlearning. And never for the casual conversation. As far as distinct harms, one would need to carefully look at each one, e.g. loss of taste & smell, this has been a symptom in common colds as long as I can remember.
if you take the time to study this and set aside your preconceived notions you will end up knowing what this guy knows. Which isn't to say people aren't dying of something (people die).
