Dan Held's answer on Linked In re: what happens when block reward ends. Is he really that misinformed or am I missing something. The tsxn fees would have to go far beyond what they already are due to the block size cap.

with hyperBTCization the expectation is fees will be in the thousands of dollars to replace the blocks subsidy.

This is nothing new.

Nobody will touch onchain BTC at that point except for big financial institutions for settlrment

Thanks, I knew it was 'nothing new'. I just didn't realize it was common knowledge amongst btc-ers that trsxns would only be from the big players. I guess it correlates w/digital gold/sov narrative. I don't think that is what the layperson understands tho
