My March chicks are starting to lay! Tiny eggs and adorable 🥰
The right egg is from a full grown chicken. The left is the small egg of a hen thats still developing her reproductive track. The eggs the hens produce will slowly get bigger over time to be the same size as the large egg.

This dinosaur breached the fence. She thought she found her flock with my speckled chickens.
Guinea hens are extremely territorial and she was harassing my fully black hens. Thankfully she found her way home and my hens are once again safe.
My Dad did survive with an expected full recovery, he got a stent in an artery that was 90% blocked. He had just a mild heart attack and there is no permanent damage.
However it was only that great of an outcome because roughly 20 years ago, when my mother was the age I am now, she had the same thing but much worse. She almost died. She had two completely blocked arteries with one thay had been blocked for so long, her heart naturally grew a vein to bypass the block. She got a stent for the other.
Her symptoms were ignored for months and written off as heartburn or pulled muscles because she was a young and otherwise woman. She recognized those symptoms in my dad and made him go in before it got worse.
My moms heart problems were attributed to a medication she was on. One similar to what doctors have been trying to put me on over the last two years.

Our busses broke down all the time so they put up animal pictuteres in the window instead. It made it easier when using the replacement busses. I only remember a dolphin and a bear but not what bus i was.

You should have a conversation with the girl and see if its important to her that you ask for the parents blessing. I had wanted my husband to ask but one of my friends thought it was an outdated concept that made women objects for parents to give away.
We just named our daughter Aurora Skye after the northern lights. I've always loved them and wanted to see them in person.
