What if the Bitcoin they are holding represents something worth much more than the value of the Bitcoin?

It's ok, I forgive you.
In a world where everyone is kind, the unkind man is king.
How do you guys live with such fluctuations in dimentionality? It makes me so sad to see people ageing every day!
Immortality Now!
I'll pay you $150 if you can deliver it to my table warm out of the oven.
Sorry Chico, but anyone ditching USD for BTC would do almost as well to throw their money on a bonfire. At least they would get something back in the form of heat and be able to put the ashes in their compost and grow nice food.
If you work for me and you sign a contract with someone giving them authority over the value you produce when I PAY YOU, YOU'RE FUCKING FIRED.

No. Companies are groups of individuals cooperating to build a product or service. They are how we work together to achieve more than a single person can do on their own. Your job as investor is to pick the groups of individuals who can cooperate the best.
There is regulation. It's called corporate law lol. You should read about it.
Nuclear is a great option. Whether it can be deployed and operated more cheaply than solar/battery is the question now.
Imagine being long coal hahaha

This assumes $10,000BTC which is the price at which everyone must slap themselves for several reasons at once.
But to give you an idea, any UTXOs worth less than around $7 become unusable at that rate, no matter how much batching or segwit you use...
At 130BTC daily fees, that is still less than 15% of the 936BTC/day in subsidies they just lost. To recover the full 6.5BTC per block, transactions need to pay a fee of 650 Satoshis/byte on average, which for a 250 byte transaction is just over $16.00.
The obvious difference between the two camps is that BTC is RELYING on people paying those fees to remain viable. If they don't, hashrate MUST fall by half OR the price must double. Either scenario means the network will face dramatic congestion.
Once the fees get to a certain point, the majority of UTXOs on the network become unspendable.
WHY WOULD YOU SPEND BTC YOU MORON? YOU'RE MEANT TO HODL IT TO THE MOON.
The most profound changes happen bit by bit over a long period and then all at once.

/pay @10201 $5 for giving me a good laugh at the end of a long day.
Profit. A small change, but I’d rather see profit than revenue as the key metric on posts and on the profile page.

you are confused by the size of the earth. Curvature would represent less than 1 or 2 pixels at that range.
When I go to space I'll send you a photo.
lol I give up

The earth is a ball held together by gravity. In 3 dimensions its shape most closely resembles a sphere.
This doesn't mean the universe isn't a hologram being projected through an e8 lattice, but I do not support the idea that the earth is flat. At all.
21 hours until the geniuses need to prove that LN scales.
